Radiology Diagnostic Radiologist
Opportunity available for a part time General Diagnostic Radiologist at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked the Number 1 Best Hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth. Part time appointment rank will be Faculty Associate. Divisional duties include interpreting a full range of diagnostic imaging studies and providing the best care possible to patients in consultation with referring physicians, and clinical expertise with radiograph interpretation, body CT imaging, and general ultrasound is expected. Interventional, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, mammography, cross-sectional musculoskeletal imaging or pediatric radiology is not required. Candidate must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree or foreign equivalent, have completed a minimum of 1 year of fellowship training in any diagnostic subspecialty, and be ABR-certified/eligible. Eligibility for Texas medical licensure and its acquisition prior to the start of employment is required. This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information. To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishment and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
