Your Opportunity Lead transportation planning studies, traffic impact analyses, and safety assessments Contribute to Environmental Impact Assessments and Planning and Environmental Linkages studies Design and oversee traffic data collection and analysis Collaborate with roadway and structural engineers on iterative design processes Ensure quality and consistency through QA/QC reviews Manage project budgets and client communications Present technical concepts at public meetings and support stakeholder engagement Coordinate modeling efforts and integrate results into planning recommendations Prepare technical reports, memoranda, and presentations Support business development through proposal writing and interviews About You A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field PE license (preferably in NY, NJ, or CT); PTOE and/or RSP certifications are a plus Strong understanding of transportation planning and traffic engineering principles Familiarity with NEPA guidelines and regional standards (NY, NJ, CT) Proficiency in Synchro, HCS, and standard business software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with VISSIM, ArcGIS, or Adobe Illustrator is a bonus Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings for diverse audiences Proven leadership and ability to manage interdisciplinary teams Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Compensation & Benefits Medical, dental, and vision plans Wellness programs and flexible spending accounts 401(k) and employee stock purchase plans Life and disability insurance Tuition reimbursement and professional development support Paid family leave, holidays, vacation, and sick time Pay Range: Locations in NYC & CA (Bay Area) & NJ (RP) - Min Salary $114,500.00 - Max Salary $166,100.00 Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
