What We're Looking For
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure in good standing (or eligibility)
- ASHA CCC's
- Educators License
- School-based setting experience
Assignment Details
- Work schedule is Tuesday through Friday
- Serves four locations
- High caseload
What You'll Do:
- Provide speech and language therapy in a school-based setting.
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver goal-aligned therapy.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams.
- Maintain compliant documentation per district, state, and federal guidelines.

Tallapoosa offers small-town access with regional outdoor recreation and convenient interstate travel. Tallapoosa sits along Interstate 20 near the Georgia-Alabama line, and downtown Atlanta is about 70 miles east while Birmingham is about 80 miles west. Outdoor options include John Tanner Park in Carrollton, about 20 miles away, and Talladega National Forest in Alabama, roughly 60 miles away. The area provides access to the historic downtown district and the Tallapoosa River, which support a quieter lifestyle with day-trip options across west Georgia and east Alabama.
