Senior Actuarial Associate
Virtual Vocations Inc
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Actuarial Associate will conduct independent validations of models across the enterprise, focusing on actuarial, asset management, and AI/ML models to ensure effective model risk management and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities: Lead and execute independent model validations and reviews, primarily for actuarial models Assess model assumptions, methodologies, and outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability Prepare comprehensive validation reports and present findings to governance committees and stakeholders Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field 3-4+ years of actuarial modeling or quantitative analytics experience within the insurance or financial services industry Completion of 5-6 actuarial exams and attainment of ASA designation Strong understanding of model lifecycle concepts and regulatory expectations Experience building, running, and validating actuarial models
