About the Position

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with a 4:1 patient ratio (occasionally 5:1)
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Apply strong cardiac assessment and clinical skills throughout each shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Complete a proctored rhythm identification test upon start of assignment (two attempts permitted; not multiple choice)

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience within the past 3 years
• Demonstrated strong cardiac skills and rhythm interpretation ability
• Ability to work night shift, 12-hour shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with structured telemetry monitoring protocols and documentation practices
