Our engineers develop medical robots by working with top surgeons and a cross-functional engineering team. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be part of a team responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining electrical designs. The position will be a hands-on one with the individual capable of creative and systematic product development with minimum supervision.Essential Functions:Designs, develops, and debugs FPGA electrical circuits and hardware based on requirementsManages component selection, schematics, and layouts in AltiumInterfaces with PCB designers to complete circuit board layouts and documentation packagesDevelops test fixtures and procedures to evaluate hardwareMaintains compliance with industry standards such as IEC 60601Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policiesEnsures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your roleRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third partiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8+ years of electrical engineering experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of 6+ years of experienceExperience with FPGAFamiliarity with common communication interfaces including USB, Ethernet, MIPI, SPI, I2C, LVDS, etcFamiliarity with image sensors and ultrasound transducersExperience with PCB development including schematic, layout, and debuggingExperience with designing and testing for EMC and EMIExperience with IEC 60601 along with NRTL testingExperience in analog and digital circuit design including signal processing, a/d, d/a, power, and firmware design in C and VerilogExperience with schematic capture software such as AltiumExperience with circuit modelling software such as PSpiceProficient with electrical test equipment; oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to travel up to 10% of the timePhysical Demands:The physical demands listed here are representative of those that must be met by and employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlRequired to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsRequired to possess specific visons abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus.Our Values:Our Life Moves Us philosophy is built on four values: Passionate About Innovation, Customer Focused, Teamwork, and Driven.Passionate about Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
