Financial Advisor LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Financial Advisor to provide financial support and analysis for the Union City manufacturing site as part of the Diagnostics Platform Finance team. This role is responsible for month‑end closing activities, variance analysis, budgeting, and ad hoc financial reporting. The position requires strong collaboration with site operations and finance teams, adherence to US GAAP and SOX compliance, and proficiency in SAP. Typical Day‑to‑Day Activities: Perform month‑end closing for the Union City site, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Analyze manufacturing variances (MUV, PPV, Volume, Spending) and provide commentary for management reporting. Generate and submit Monthly Operations Summary reports with variance explanations. Liaise with site operations teams to resolve financial issues and ensure accurate reporting. Support annual budget cycle, including product cost generation and variance analysis. Provide SAP reports to operations leaders for budgeting and cost analysis. Calculate costs for new manufactured items and assist with cost change driver identification. Support internal and external audits and maintain SOX compliance. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed. Key Responsibilities: Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting for site operations. Execute month‑end close processes and variance analysis. Partner with site operations to interpret financial data and resolve discrepancies. Support budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed cost analysis. Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and audit requirements. Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance. Adapt to a fast‑paced environment and embrace process improvements. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA or Master's degree in a business‑related field preferred. 35 years of experience in manufacturing finance or cost accounting, with product costing exposure. Strong plant cost accounting/manufacturing accounting skills. Proficiency in SAP (non‑negotiable). Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work across diverse teams. High level of professional integrity and attention to detail. Experience supporting audits and SOX compliance. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
