A well-established skilled nursing facility in Kentucky is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing department. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong nurse leader to make an impact in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the nursing department.

• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and CMS regulations.

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and development of nursing staff.

• Maintain survey readiness and lead quality improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with administration, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve the highest standards of resident care.

• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on compassionate care and accountability.

• Active RN license in Kentucky (required).

• Prior DON or ADON experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility strongly preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations, PDPM, and survey process.
