Travel MRI Technician
Location: Muskegon, Michigan
Shift/Schedule: Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, shifts per unit needs
Pay/Compensation: $56.97 to $58.97 per hour

A leading regional healthcare provider known for patient-centric care is seeking a Travel MRI Technician in Muskegon. You will produce high-quality MRI studies while keeping patients safe and comfortable. This 13-week assignment suits an experienced technologist who works well with new teams.

Assignment Details

• Contract assignment, 90 days with possible extension
• Work setting: onsite
• Openings: 1
• Anticipated start: within the next two to three weeks
• Candidates must live 60 or more miles from the facility

Core Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams per physician orders and department protocols
• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications
• Position patients and select optimal scan parameters
• Administer contrast per protocol when ordered
• Review images for quality before radiologist review
• Document exams accurately in the EHR and PACS

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience
• Current BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety zones and screening
• Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility (travel requirement)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cardiac, breast or MRA studies
• Siemens or GE MRI experience
• Epic and PACS experience
• Travel or contract assignment experience at multiple facilities
• Strong references from recent clinical managers
• Flexibility to work varied shifts when the unit needs support
