Mechanical Technical Specialist

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Mechanical Technical Specialist to join their team. As a Mechanical Technical Specialist, you will be part of the Hotline Department supporting maintenance and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Technical Specialist

Location: Alcoa, TN

Pay Range: $32-$35, DOE

Shift: Days, Nights (40 hour)

What's the Job?

• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to restore product flow efficiently
• Lead and train craft employees to ensure safety and operational excellence
• Analyze equipment and process data to identify improvements and implement solutions
• Assist in outage planning, small capital projects, and major repairs
• Support process engineering initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

What's Needed?

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including weekends
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to support both day and night shifts as needed
• Flexibility to travel up to 10% and support on-call troubleshooting
