Location: Lewisville, TX 75057
Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: MondayFriday, 6:00 AM 3:30 PM

• 2nd Shift: MondayThursday, 3:30 PM 2:00 AM
  Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC equipment used in the 2-D and 3-D bending of wire components. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting technical drawings, performing quality inspections, troubleshooting machine issues, and ensuring production meets customer specifications.

This role also assists the Department Lead with operator training while promoting a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set machine controls to regulate speed, feed rates, depth, and angle of cut according to established procedures.

• Program, evaluate, and validate CNC tooling and machine paths for each component.

• Adjust machine parameters as necessary to optimize production and quality.

• Load raw materials and components into CNC equipment safely and efficiently.

• Start, monitor, and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.

• Verify finished components meet specifications using calipers, micrometers, fixed gauges, and other inspection equipment.

• Install, calibrate, and test machine tooling.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

• Inspect incoming components and materials to verify correct specifications prior to production.

• Interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications to manufacture quality parts.

• Utilize ERP systems, drawing viewers, Microsoft Office applications, and machine control software.

• Maintain accurate production and quality records.

• Assist in training operators and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required QualificationsEducation

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Previous CNC programming and machine operation experience required.

Experience & Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Proficiency using measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.

• Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.

• Working knowledge of computers and manufacturing software systems.

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with drawing/model viewing software such as eDrawings.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

• Ability and willingness to train and mentor other operators.

• Reliable transportation required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred).

• Basic understanding of 3-D planes and spatial relationships.

• Experience operating wire-forming, bending, or similar CNC manufacturing equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.

• Must be able to lift and carry 3050 pounds.

• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing facility environment.

• Non-climate-controlled facility ; temperatures may vary depending on seasonal conditions.

• Exposure to machine noise, moving equipment, and manufacturing processes.

• Appropriate PPE will be provided and required.

Additional Requirements

• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production demands.
