Senior Associate, Commercial Due Diligence, Technology Industry Group - Private Equity

Description We are seeking a Commercial Due Diligence specialist to join the Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) – Technology Industry Group team. Team & Role The Technology Industry Group focuses on high‑growth private equity and corporate clients in the technology segment. How You Will Contribute Our offering provides structured solutions for operational and commercial due diligence. In this role, you will own client deliverables and lead analysis to drive transaction value creation. Key Responsibilities Prepare major client deliverables, including full ownership of the market model and specific workstreams with limited support. Lead detailed analyses to support project objectives and client needs. Structure and deliver workstreams to ensure successful execution of commercial due diligence projects, collaborating with the CDD leadership team. Design, manage, and analyze complex surveys; proficiency with Tableau or BI tools is a plus. Gather data through desktop research, expert interviews, and surveys. Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover transaction risks and identify post‑transaction value opportunities. Work with cross‑functional project teams and collaborate with other due diligence workstreams such as ODD, ITDD, FDD, or TaxDD. Deliver high‑quality reports on key topics in a timely manner. Qualifications Successfully delivered 10+ CDD/VDD projects. Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic performance. 3–5+ years of consulting experience with software and technology‑oriented buy‑side and sell‑side commercial due diligence. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, synthesizing complex data into actionable insights. Experience leading workstreams in CDD, with excellent written and verbal communication and strong presentation skills. Proficiency in bottom‑up and top‑down market sizing, owning market models from day one. Experience with survey analysis, questionnaire design, data analysis, and slide development. Technology sector experience in M&A and performance improvement. Team‑oriented, adaptable, curious, and a quick learner. Highly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Driven, critical thinker with strong initiative. Willing to travel up to 25%. Benefits & Compensation The base salary range is $100,000 – $170,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
