Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in X-ray procedures within trauma and hospital settings, ensuring accurate diagnosis and patient safety.
Responsibilities:
- Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images following established protocols.
- Ensure patient positioning for optimal imaging results while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain compliance with state and facility-specific licensing and certification requirements.
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures, including COVID protocols and drug screening requirements.
- Collaborate with radiology team and physicians to deliver precise diagnostic services.
- Document procedures accurately in the EPIC EMR system and verify documentation completeness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ current X-ray experience in hospital environments.
- Active NYS Rad Tech license and ARRT certification required.
- Proven experience with EPIC EMR system.
- Strong background working in level 1 trauma hospitals preferred.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- Valid driver’s license and permanent address verification required.
