Pro Audio and Recording Gear Sales Specialist

Company: Sound Pure LLC Position: Pro Audio and Recording Gear Sales Specialist Location: Downtown Durham, NC (in-office) Compensation: Commissioned sales with competitive base salary and uncapped commission. Year 1 on-target compensation: $30,000-$60,000 post-training (paid, lower rate). Commitment: Full-time Start Date: Immediate

Position Summary Sound Pure seeks sales-driven individuals passionate about building relationships and discussing professional audio equipment. Based in our Durham, NC office, this role focuses on recording products like microphones, preamplifiers, and studio monitors, with an emphasis on high-end analog hardware.

The Opportunity During paid training, you'll gain deep knowledge of audio equipment, including manufacturers, tonal characteristics, and customer needs. After certification (timeline varies), you'll proactively sell to clients, matching them with best-in-class products. This is ideal for sales-driven individuals seeking a sustainable music-related career in a growing, entrepreneurial company.

Responsibilities

Achieve/exceed sales targets
Manage CRM: log interactions, update profiles, maintain follow-ups
Build client relationships
Master sales tools, products, and processes
Use proactive, consultative phone selling
Develop deep knowledge of audio products
