Industrial Engineer 1

Description: 

ENG- Analyze production performance and processes to support production stability, identify process improvements, and reduce non-value-added work through lean methodologies. Support production schedules, resource alignment, quality defect analysis, capacity and constraint analysis, and disruption recovery planning.

#Education & Job Requirements

*Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business-related curriculum such as Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Economics
*Demonstrated skills in effective time management, communication, and organizational skills
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

#Preferred Skills

*1+ years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment
*1+ years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes
*1+ years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles
*Experience developing and deploying standard processes
*Proficiency in structured problem solving
*Experience with capacity planning
*Working knowledge of resource utilization
*Experience identifying process improvements through lean methodologies
*Familiarity with supply chain planning and logistics
*Experience collaborating with multiple support organizations
*Experience developing visual tools to identify performance metrics and areas of opportunity

#Job Duties & Functions

*Analyze performance against daily schedules or orders.
*Learn production processes to ensure correct sequencing and resource alignment.
*Identify safety and ergonomic issues for reduction or elimination.
*Evaluate quality defect trends through root cause analysis and provide recommendations to reduce or eliminate defects.
*Recommend process improvements that reduce non-value-added work and improve cost and flow.
*Develop disruption recovery plans using resource capacity and constraint analysis when required.
*Mitigate impacts to downstream work statements and major milestones.
*Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations.
*Lead initiatives around production stabilization.
*Apply Business Administration methodologies throughout the industry.
*Support capacity planning and resource utilization activities.
*Create visual tools to identify performance metrics and areas of opportunity.
