KC-135 Stratotanker First Officer

Omega hires aircrew on a rolling basis, so aircrew (our primary labor pool) candidates are always welcome to submit applications for consideration.

Note: All pilots are initially hired as First Officers. Based on background and experience, eligible pilots may upgrade to Captain well within their first year.

Requirements

To apply for a position, candidates must have experience in the B-707/KC-135 and/or KC-10/DC-10 aircraft.

Minimum requirements for pilot candidates:

• 2000 hours total multi-engine land time (3000 hours preferred)
• Commercial Pilot License (with Instrument rating), ATP preferred
• Type Rating(s): B-707/B-720, and/or DC-10
• 1000 hours MEL PIC time (in type preferred)
• Heavy aircraft flight time in the last 12 months preferred
• FAA Second Class Medical
• Security Clearance: eligible for Secret level with a current status (previous two years)

General requirements for all candidates:

• Current, valid passport or other travel documents enabling the bearer to freely exit and re-enter the U.S. (multiple re-entry status)
• Valid driver’s license

• Year-One Full-Time Compensation:
• $107,000 annual base salary
• Up to $24,000 in variable compensation based on work schedules, excluding profit sharing or other incentives
