The position is located in the AdventHealth Central Florida Division. Responsibilities Provide first assisting during surgical procedures. Participate in the management of the intraoperative care of surgical patients. Ensure operating room is properly set up and equipped for the planned procedure. Perform all intraoperative tasks as directed by the surgeon. Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed. Specialties covered include robotics, orthopedics, urogynecology, plastic surgery, neurology and vascular. Schedule Details Campuses covered: AdventHealth Central Florida Division. 5‑day operating schedule. Call and weekend responsibility. Knowledge and Skills Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients. Strong communication skills. Strong medical decision‑making skills. Required Education and Experience Graduation from an ARC‑PA approved physician assistant program. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a PA‑C in surgical first assisting in at least one listed specialty. Preferred experience in spine and robotics. Required Licensure, Certification, and Registration Current, valid and unrestricted Florida PA license. NCCPA certification.
