In this full-time remote role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychotherapy and comprehensive mental health services tailored to individuals facing various mental health challenges. This position is ideal for a candidate who is committed to fostering emotional wellness and contributing to the healing process of patients in need.

About the Organization

At Social Mind Solution-focused Therapy, we are focused on delivering solution-oriented mental health services within the comfort and safety of a remote environment. Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to help patients achieve their mental health goals, while prioritizing their dignity and individuality. As part of our dedicated team, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals and utilize advanced telehealth technologies to maintain effective communication and coordination of care. Your workspace should be equipped to facilitate virtual therapy sessions, ensuring the same level of professionalism and warmth as in-person interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies designed to address diverse mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
  • Conduct thorough assessments that evaluate clients' mental health status, emotional well-being, and social circumstances to inform personalized treatment plans.

  • Provide educational resources to patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, encouraging their engagement in the therapeutic process.
  • Uphold all ethical and professional standards of practice, including confidentiality regulations and the informed consent process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with adult patients facing a range of mental health challenges, particularly those requiring support in a hospice setting. Your ability to build rapport and trust will be crucial, as patients may be dealing with complex emotional responses related to chronic illness, loss, or terminal diagnoses. Sensitivity and cultural competence are essential in navigating these delicate conversations and fostering therapeutic alliances.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring a strong foundation in clinical practices and theories.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), validating your competency to provide mental health services.
  • A minimum of **two years** of direct practice experience in providing psychotherapy or mental health services, demonstrating your expertise in crafting treatment interventions and assessments.
  • Exceptional communication skills that enable you to effectively interact with patients, their families, and fellow healthcare professionals, facilitating a supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Proficient clinical skills, including experience in evidence-based treatment planning and assessment techniques.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare software for managing patient data and treatment documentation.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a hospice or palliative care setting is highly preferred, as it will enhance your understanding of the challenges faced by patients in these unique life stages.
  • Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
  • Background in working with diverse populations, which contributes to your ability to provide culturally tailored care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from **$90,000 to $105,000 annually**, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
