Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Golden, CO | Agency: AMN Healthcare | Pay: $1,897 to $2,015 per week | Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours | Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a qualified ER/Trauma RN to provide care in the Emergency Room at a major hospital. The role requires independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions appropriate for the level of care. Responsibilities Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. Collect and assess health data; evaluate health status. Provide health teaching and counseling. Provide therapeutic and restorative care directly or through supervision of others. Execute delegated medical functions. Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment when necessary. Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans. Document care per hospital and regulatory guidelines. Use resources as needed. Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization and adhere to service behavior standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Float to other departments within scope of competency based on business need. Stay on‑call during regularly scheduled shifts if required. Qualifications Registered Nurse, ER or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in ER/Trauma nursing. RN license, compact acceptable. Certifications: BLS‑AHA, ACLS‑AHA, PALS‑AHA, CERT‑TNCC, CERT‑ENPC. 1 reference from entire work history. Benefits Competitive pay rates. Free, private housing.
