Job Description
ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional nursing care within the Intensive Care Unit. This position may require floating to the Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical Unit, or Pediatrics depending on patient needs and census levels.

Role Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care to critically ill patients in a 5-bed ICU setting.
Perform a variety of responsible nursing care procedures with a focus on patient-specific conditions and treatments.
Work independently and efficiently to complete assignments while adhering to guidelines including doctors' orders and nursing policies.
Offer support and care to patients of all ages and their families.
Assist in the post-operative recovery of patients, including those from general surgery, pediatrics, and obstetrics as necessary.

Necessary Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 3 years of prior ICU nursing experience required.
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing.
Licensure: Current valid unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN) to practice in any state of the United States.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) - NIHSS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
