Production Superintendent

Responsibilities You will supervise day‑to‑day operations at a Linde hydrogen and nitrogen site, including Steam Methane Reformers, to ensure safe and reliable performance. You shall train facility technicians, implement safety programs, and meet cost commitments while maintaining compliance with quality systems and governmental regulations. In this role you will monitor unit operations, compressors, and supporting equipment to supply products safely and prevent unscheduled shutdowns. Troubleshoot plant processes & equipment problems and implementing solutions. Take responsibility for writing and reviewing standard operating procedures and standard maintenance procedures to strengthen operational consistency and reliability. Additionally, coordinate maintenance activities, ensure proper use of the maintenance management system, and drive optimization initiatives for safety, efficiency, and reliability. Maintain QA program, facilitate customer and corporate audits. Develop and maintain relationship/communication with the customer. Communicate effectively with technicians, maintenance teams, the facility manager, and business partners while scheduling technician work hours and evaluating direct reports. Qualifications Bring a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in operations or refining environments along with two or more years of demonstrated leadership experience. Possess strong communication skills and the ability to train, supervise, and develop technicians. Have experience managing safety programs and ensuring compliance with regulations such as OSHA Process Safety Management, Environmental Protection Agency Risk Management Plan. Demonstrate the ability to drive continuous improvements in safety, reliability, and operational efficiency across Steam Methane Reformer units and supporting equipment. Be comfortable managing multiple priorities, making informed decisions, and keeping facility leadership informed of operational deviations. Be recognized for maintaining strong operational discipline, coordinating effectively across teams, and supporting the overall performance of the site.
