Continuous Improvement Consultant

Children's employs Continuous Improvement (CI) methodology based on the Toyota Production System or "Lean" thinking as the basis for its management system to continuously improve processes to meet business imperatives and outcomes. Internal CI consultants provide CI consulting, CI education and improvement activity facilitation, and function as CI advocate for Children's. Consultants develop the Lean thinking of leaders in support of achieving strategic business outcomes; leading and coaching leaders to develop broad systems and infrastructures throughout their areas that enable daily improvement by staff and leaders at all levels. Consultants rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan, accomplish goals, and collaborate within existing Children's system.
Required Education and ExperienceBA/BS degree.
5-7 years of facilitation or leadership experience with groups, training teams, and/or consulting with diverse client groups and/or equivalent education and experience including, but not limited to Instructor/Leadership certifications and management of teams.
3 years experience with Toyota Production System (TPS), or equivalent production system and/or equivalent education and experience including, but not limited to Lean/Six Sigma, Quality Improvement certifications: Must include experience leading improvement and developing lean management systems.
Demonstrated implementation of complex and strategic improvement initiatives at all levels of organization.
Demonstrated experience in developing Lean skills in others through coaching, education, and training. Required Credentials

Experience consulting with Executive Leaders.
Experience with simulation and data modeling.
MA/MS degree in Health Administration or equivalent program.
Management/leadership experience.
Lean certifications, such as Accelerated or Rapid Improvement Workshop, Value Stream Mapping, A3 (evidence-based problem solving).
Change Management certifications such as ProSci. Compensation Range
$118,174.00 - $177,262.00 per year Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
