The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) has recognized our commitment to the highest standards of quality and patient safety in radiation oncology.If you've been searching for a caring, dedicated team where your skills and passion for patient care can truly shine, look no further; you'll feel right at home at Cancer Care Northwest.ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully an individual must:Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatment in accordance with established protocols.Accurately position patients and deliver the prescribed dose to correspond with the designated treatment plan.Assist the radiation therapy department with patient care, treatment delivery, treatment records, radiation safety, and quality assurance functions.Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance throughout the treatment process.Operate and maintain radiation equipment to the highest standards.Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, dosimetry, physics, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely treatment.Proficient in the use of radiation therapy equipment and software.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to adapt and excel in a float position, providing coverage across various locations as needed including the hospital setting.Dedication to patient care and safety.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Graduate from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.Minimum 3 years' experience actively practicing as an RTT. ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally lifts and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.Work Environment: The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Work will involve interaction with co-workers and management and/or clients. Work may require minimal travel by automobile to office sites.Salary Range DOE - $44.22 - $66.33Benefit information
