About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Electric Cooperative Markets to take on a pivotal role in owning and evolving the market strategy and positioning. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining executive-level relationships across the electric cooperative market, with a focus on creating a robust pipeline of Distributed Capacity Procurement opportunities. This strategic, individual-contributor position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in business development, market development, or strategic partnerships within the utility, energy, or infrastructure sector. The role demands a deep understanding of electric cooperative governance, member-owned structures, and the factors influencing cooperative purchasing and investment decisions. The Vice President will be expected to represent the company at the executive level, influence cross-functional teams, and drive the company's growth strategy in the electric cooperative market. Applicants for the Vice President role at the company should have a proven track record of independently establishing and evolving market strategy, as well as the ability to influence and coordinate work across teams. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have experience in utility-scale battery storage, generation, or other grid infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have an existing network of electric cooperative executives and industry leaders, and the ability to travel frequently to meet with stakeholders and attend industry events. Success in this position will be measured by the candidate's ability to build a clear and defensible market strategy, expand executive-level relationships, and create a measurable pipeline that leads to signed DCP programs. The role is suited for a professional who can operate with significant autonomy, make enterprise-level judgments, and bring market insights into the business to advise on strategic decisions.
