Accounts Receivable Specialist

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the receivables process, solving billing issues, managing customer relationships, and driving collections while maintaining exceptional accuracy.This role offers the opportunity to contribute immediately while positioning yourself for long-term growth through a contract-to-hire pathway.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounts receivable activities for a diverse customer baseGenerate and distribute customer invoices accurately and timelyApply customer payments via ACH, wire transfers, lockbox, and checksResearch and resolve unapplied cash and payment discrepanciesMonitor aging reports and proactively manage collections effortsFollow up on past-due accounts and negotiate payment resolutionsReconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate account recordsInvestigate and resolve billing disputes, deductions, short pays, and credit memosWork closely with customers, sales teams, and operations to address account concernsPrepare AR aging and collections reports for management reviewSupport month-end close activities related to receivablesMaintain detailed documentation and audit-ready recordsAssist with special projects and process improvement initiatives
