Respiratory EducatorThe Respiratory Educator (RE) utilizes innovation, flexible solutions, evidence-based practice, and effective operations for establishing an environment that transforms professional growth, role competence, and proficiency in team members specialty.What you will do:Develops innovative learning approaches for coordination, facilitation, conduction, and evaluation of orientation, competency, and in-service programsCreate and implement continuing education based on needs assessmentProvide education/training on all new equipment and validates each staff member on useParticipate in the development of specialty and generic Respiratory policies/proceduresCollaborate with hospital-based education specialist for organizational needs and supportMentor team members to focus on professional growth and developmentDuring times of no scheduled education and training or as operational needs requires, The RT educator may perform normal duties as a staff RTMinimum Qualifications:Associate's degree in respiratory therapy program and Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field requiredMinimum of five (5) years of experience in all aspects of Respiratory CarePrior teaching experience preferredNBRC certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is requiredDemonstrated project management experience requiredPosition Highlights and Benefits:Full time 40hrs M-F daysExcellent benefits - starting day 1!Ministry/Facility Information:Saint Francis Hospital is committed to exceeding the expectations of our patients and families by providing world-class service in a progressive, people-centered, compassionate health care environment.
