Bring your passion for helping students thrive to this rewarding contract role serving multiple schools near Nashua, NH. We’re seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work full time during the 2024-2025 academic year, with the opportunity for yearly renewal and possible ESY extension.
You’ll join a supportive team providing essential therapy services across four school sites, working a steady schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., September 3rd through June 17th. The manageable caseload of approximately 40 students allows you to build strong relationships and make a meaningful impact on student mobility, participation, and well-being.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current licensure in New Hampshire as a PT or PTA (required)
- Experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare settings highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between school sites as needed
- Enthusiasm for collaborative, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy interventions for students, under IEP or 504 plans
- Conduct functional assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Develop goals and treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Document sessions and progress in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Provide consultation, support, and training to teachers, staff, and families
