Seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. Responsibilities include
- assessing, monitoring, initiating, and modifying medication therapy
- ensuring accurate medication preparation and dispensing
- resolving medication-related issues
- supervising support staff
- educating patients and staff on drug therapy
- managing procurement, storage, and disposal of medications
. The role involves
Seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. Responsibilities include
- assessing, monitoring, initiating, and modifying medication therapy
- ensuring accurate medication preparation and dispensing
- resolving medication-related issues
- supervising support staff
- educating patients and staff on drug therapy
- managing procurement, storage, and disposal of medications
- evaluating medication orders for appropriateness
- participating in departmental meetings and committees
- serving as a drug therapy resource
- promoting safety and efficiency in medication use.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
- Minimum of 2 years of experience; supervisory experience not required
- Licensed as a Pharmacist and certified for Medication Therapy Services in MO
- Preferred: Doctorate in Pharmacy with 2-5 years of experience
