Required Level I trauma experience. License: State RN license must be active by start date. Certifications: ACLS BCLS by AHA PALS TNCC NIH Must-Have: Must agree to work 3 weekends (Friday to Sunday) per 4-week schedule. High patient ratios of 1:5-6, which may increase depending on patient volume. Description: Seeking a registered nurse to join our emergency department. This position offers an opportunity to work in a Level I trauma center. The emergency department caters to a variety of patient demographics, including pediatric and adult populations. Nurses in this department will experience high patient volumes and must possess strong critical thinking skills. Experience with EPIC charting is required. Candidates must be proficient in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Preferred experiences include procedural sedation and triage. The unit operates a 5-level triage system to expedite patient care. Interdisciplinary support is available, including respiratory services and critical care transport teams. Nurses will care for patients with a range of injuries and conditions, including major trauma and neuro emergencies. Modules may be required prior to starting, and completion is essential for operational readiness. This position does not include on-call duties. Weekend shifts are expected, with potential flexible scheduling.
