Speech Language Pathologist
Alpha Home Health and Hospice
Role Overview: This position is for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist providing individualized care to older adults in their homes or senior living communities. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations, develop and deliver evidence-based therapy plans, and support patient independence and mobility. Document care accurately and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on safety and aging in place, incorporating telehealth when appropriate. Qualifications & Skills: Valid state licensure, accredited degree, CCC from ASHA, CPR certification, and proficiency with computers and EMR systems. Ability to meet physical demands of in-home care, including lifting, repositioning, and driving.
