As a Textile Designer, you will shape our growing textile and soft home categories. This role blends trend-driven aesthetics, technical repeat design, and merchandising. Rather than focusing solely on fine art creation, this position requires a designer who can translate seasonal home trends into production-ready artwork, create realistic product visualizations for buyer presentations, and curate cohesive fabric and pattern assortments that align with retail strategies. Responsibilities Forecast and apply seasonal trend stories, color palettes, print concepts, and woven/printed textures across textile lines. Create pattern repeats, CAD renderings, colorway variations, and textile mockups for retailer presentations and internal reviews. Partner with cross-functional teams to curate cohesive textile assortments, manage SKU counts, and align designs with retail price points. Develop precise production-ready artwork, color-separated CADs, print scale guides, and technical spec sheets detailing fabric construction, repeat sizes, and pantone callouts. Work directly with global manufacturers to review strike-offs, lab dips, and sample swatches, troubleshooting print and weave challenges to ensure design integrity from digital file to finished product. Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. 2+ years of design experience within home textiles, home décor, furniture, accessories, or related consumer product categories. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, with experience creating CADs, pattern repeats, and product mappings. Strong understanding of color theory, print and pattern development, trend forecasting, and material selection. Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, sourcing, and manufacturing processes. Please include your portfolio link or portfolio attachment with your application.
