Physician Assistant - Dr. Constantine Demetracopoulos

Position Overview We are looking for a Physician Assistant (PA) to serve as a primary assistant to the doctor, providing clinical evaluation, counseling, and first assist in the operating room. Key Responsibilities Conduct clinical evaluation of patients in the office. Counsel patients and families regarding surgical procedures and address pre‑ and post‑operative questions. Assist in the operating room as a surgical first assist. Collaborate with office staff, other PAs, patients, and families to deliver high quality care. Maintain effective communication with outpatient staff and inpatient hospital teams. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited PA program. Current NYS PA license. BLS/ACLS certification. NCCPA board certification. Current Infection Control Certification and completion of a child abuse recognition course. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team player. Preferred: Surgical experience or training. Compensation The base pay scale ranges from $156,576.13 to $173,563.63, with additional benefits consistent with the role. Salary is based on experience, education, and other factors. Employment Type Regular full-time. Work Shift Day shift; no weekend shifts or overnight call.
