Key Responsibilities for the Plant Accountant:
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and plant performance reports
• Monitor inventory activity, cost accounting functions, and manufacturing variances
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Reconcile accounts and support month-end and year-end close processes
• Analyze operational data and provide recommendations to management
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Qualifications for the Plant Accountant:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Manufacturing or plant accounting experience preferred
• Experience with cost accounting and inventory accounting concepts
• Experience with financial reporting and account reconciliations preferred
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis principles
