Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver – Ebensburg, PA & Surrounding AreasDirect Support Professional (DSP) – $17-$25/hr + $1,000 Signing BonusAbound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. The individual communicates verbally, enjoys socializing with others, and thrives when provided with encouragement, emotional support, and predictable routines.The individual enjoys a wide variety of hobbies and interests, including:Basketball and footballBowling and bowling leaguesFishingVideo gamesDrawing flagsHistory and moviesShoppingWalks and community outingsSpecial events and recreational activitiesThe individual has a history of Autism Spectrum Disorder, schizophrenia, depression, mood disorder, seizure disorder, and other medical conditions that require ongoing support and supervision. A successful DSP will be patient, dependable, attentive to health and safety needs, and comfortable providing behavioral support when necessary.What You'll DoAs a DSP, you will provide hands-on support that helps individuals build independence and confidence.
