Treasury Operations Specialist

A leading global alternative asset manager is seeking an Operations Analyst to join its Treasury Operations team. This role provides exposure to a wide range of alternative investment strategies and global operations while supporting critical treasury functions including cash movements, settlement processes, collateral management, and counterparty operations. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in financial services operations, strong attention to detail, and an interest in developing expertise within the hedge fund and alternative asset management industry. Responsibilities Manage the setup and maintenance of settlement instructions across multiple counterparties, custodians, and trading relationships. Process and monitor cash and security transfers across various electronic platforms. Support treasury operations related to liquidity management, collateral optimization, and counterparty exposures. Partner with internal teams including trading, technology, accounting, asset servicing, and credit operations to resolve issues and improve processes. Coordinate private deal funding activity with Real Estate Accounting, Private Equity Accounting, and Credit Operations teams. Support corporate actions and income-related events in partnership with Asset Servicing teams. Assist with audit requests and maintain strong operational controls across treasury processes. Collaborate with prime brokers, custodians, and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely settlement. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in financial services, investment operations, treasury, middle office, or related fields. Strong analytical skills and financial acumen. Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong academic background and demonstrated interest in financial markets and asset management.
