Registered Nurse - Gastrointestinal SpecialtyThe Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for the care and management of a designated group of patients. This role requires the utilization of the nursing process in providing holistic patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.ResponsibilitiesPerform ongoing assessments and data collection focusing on the physiological, psychological, and cognitive status of patients.Analyze assessment data to determine appropriate nursing diagnoses.Formulate a goal-directed plan of care based on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.Implement care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner.Document care provided in a timely, accurate, and concise manner in patient records.Evaluate the effectiveness of care and progress towards patient outcomes.Demonstrate an awareness of legal issues in patient care and act to reduce risk.Engage in staff development activities to enhance nursing practice.Create effective working relationships with patients, families, and team members.Participate in emergency patient care situations efficiently and calmly.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureValid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.Current certifications as required for unit/specialty (e.g., ACLS, BLS).Prior experience in gastrointestinal nursing preferred but not mandatory.ScheduleDay/evening shift options typically from 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM or 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.On-call responsibilities approximately once a week and every sixth weekend.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
