Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 3-5 Years License: RN License Required Certifications: ACLS & PALS Must-Have: Experience in Pre & Post-operative care Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The role involves working with pre and post-operative patients. The nurse will handle all types of surgical patients including general, colorectal, gynecological, urology, urogynecological, bariatric, and orthopedic surgeries. The work environment is fast-paced and requires a team player. The nurse will be expected to manage patient care with a 1:1 ratio in pre-op and a 3:1 ratio in post-op. Minimal call responsibilities are expected, no more than 3-4 shifts in a 6-week schedule if needed. Dress code includes provided hospital scrubs. Any outside jackets or unacceptable attire must adhere to the dress code for the procedural area.
