Prisma Health , South Carolina’s largest not-for-profit healthcare system, is seeking a dynamic and collaborative physician leader to serve as Chair of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology for Prisma Health and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville .
This role offers the opportunity to lead a large, well-established department while shaping the future of women’s health through clinical care, education, and research within a growing academic health system.
Lead strategy, growth, and operations across 22 divisions
Advance clinical excellence and patient centered care
Oversee residency and medical education programs (ACGME accredited)
Recruit and mentor outstanding faculty and trainees
Grow research and scholarly activity through collaboration
Foster an inclusive, high performing culture
✅ Qualifications:
• M.D. or equivalent
• Board certified in Ob/Gyn
• Eligible for appointment as Professor
• Proven academic and clinical leadership experience
