Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

Our client in the Auburn, Maine area is seeking a contractor to design mechanical systems for custom industrial automation equipment and robotics solutions. You'll be creating detailed drawings and 3D models while supporting turnkey solutions, upgrades and service with a small but mighty company and team involved in meaningful work.

The ideal candidate has:

3 or more years of relevant experience
Experience or aptitude in machinery and automation system design
Strong CAD skills in SolidWorks, Solid Edge or other similar software.
Willingness and ability to work with your hands (assembly/test)
