Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required Must-Have: Charge Nurse Experience, Conscious Sedation, Triage skills Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room and Urgent Care. This position involves working three 12-hour night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to both adult and pediatric patients. Patient ratios are 1:4 for days and nights. On weekends, the nurse will work every third weekend. Charge nurse experience is preferred. Skills in conscious sedation and triage are necessary. The emergency department handles a variety of diagnoses. The facility provides normal urgent care and emergency department services. The total number of staffed beds is 17. Charting will be conducted using Epic. The department experiences a daily census of approximately 140. Candidates must be willing to float within their scope of practice as needed. A minimum of one supervisor reference is required during the application process. Candidates must satisfy background check requirements before starting. Fingerprints are mandatory for compliance with state regulations.
