What You'll Do

As a Senior HVAC Service Technician, you'll be a trusted expert for customers, a mentor for developing technicians, and a key contributor to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and service commercial HVAC and VRF systems
• Troubleshoot refrigeration circuits, controls, electrical components, and system performance issues
• Perform advanced diagnostics and develop effective repair solutions
• Support commissioning, startup, remediation, and optimization of HVAC equipment
• Review wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation to resolve complex issues
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers and project stakeholders
• Complete service documentation accurately and maintain equipment records
• Coordinate parts procurement and ensure efficient job execution
• Mentor junior technicians through hands-on training and field leadership
• Collaborate with operations and service leadership to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Maintain compliance with all safety requirements, manufacturer standards, and company procedures

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, controls, and electrical diagnostics
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Commitment to safety, professionalism, and continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems
• EPA Certification
• Manufacturer certifications or advanced HVAC technical training
• Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and controls
• Previous leadership, mentoring, or lead technician experience
