Our client that is a leader in the metal stamping industry in Baldwin, WI client is looking to directly hire a Quality Inspector Coordinator to add to their 1st shift team focusing on first articles.

POSITION - Quality Inspector

JOB LOCATION - Baldwin, WI

STARTING DATE - Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM - Direct Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE - Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) - 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm M-F)

STARTING PAY - $50,000 - $60,000 Annual Salary - Depends on Experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION - High School Diploma/GED

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - At least 3-5 years of experience

Successful candidate will have experience as a Quality Inspector and preferably in metal shop environment and be self directed enjoy a high paced environment, self-motivated, enjoy a challenge and have to ability to prioritize are all a must.

Responsibilities

-Perform first article inspections

-Process rejects in accordance with approved procedures

-Uses a variety of equipment: CMM, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, etc

-Layout parts for dimensional accuracy

-Maintain records

-Communicate with operators and QA Department

-Assist in calibration operations as required

-Material Inspection

Qualifications

-This position requires basic math and reading skills

-Excellent blue print reading skills

-Good understanding of GD&T

-Understanding of check sheets and customer/agency specifications.
