Distribution Center Supervisor

Description and Responsibilities:

The Operations Supervisor partners closely with hourly associates and on-site leadership to ensure efficient, day-to-day operations and successful execution within their department. This role is responsible for consistently meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) while supporting both team and client objectives.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Lead and manage a team of 25+ associates, including frontline leaders, ensuring effective execution of HR-related processes and daily operations.
• Foster strong communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization to drive team alignment and performance.
• Train, coach, and guide team members to maintain high productivity, efficiency, and overall performance standards.
• Promote a safe, well-functioning work environment by ensuring equipment reliability and proactively addressing operational or safety concerns.

Qualifications:

The qualified candidate will possess most of the following traits:

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, including the ability to handle employee relations matters independently.
• Strategic and operational mindset with experience developing and executing short- and long-term plans to achieve business goals.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience in 3PL, retail, or e-commerce environments preferred.
