About the Role:

Gabriel Domenech, MD, PA is seeking a compassionate and skilled Chemotherapy Infusion Registered Nurse to join our dedicated oncology team in Plantation, FL. Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and other IV infusion therapies safely and in accordance with established oncology protocols
• Monitor patients during infusion sessions for adverse reactions, side effects, and changes in condition
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication side effects, and self-care strategies
• Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate individualized patient care
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of treatments, patient responses, and nursing assessments in the EMR
• Manage central venous access devices, including PICCs, ports, and central lines
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ONS, and facility safety standards for chemotherapy handling and disposal

Requirements:

• Active Florida RN license in good standing
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum 1-2 years of oncology, infusion, or chemotherapy nursing experience
• Proficiency in IV insertion, port access, and central line management
• Strong knowledge of chemotherapy agents, protocols, and safe handling procedures
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with excellent communication skills
