Environmental Staff Project ManagerEngineering Consulting Services (ECS) is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Staff Project Manager to join our team. The Environmental Staff Project Manager supports the execution and management of environmental consulting projects through a combination of field work, technical analysis, reporting, and project coordination. This role begins developing ownership of project tasks, client relationships, budgets, and schedules while working under the guidance of senior project management staff. The Environmental Staff Project Manager contributes to project success through technical execution, team coordination, and professional client service while demonstrating ECS Core Values.ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with project teams on a variety of environmental consulting projectsAttends project meetings and assists with technical and administrative issue resolutionDevelops relationships with existing and prospective clients through project interactionsMaintains regular communication with assigned clients and project stakeholdersAssists with project budget management and change order trackingPrepares invoices and supports collection activitiesSchedules, trains, and oversees environmental technicians and support staffPrioritizes project tasks and assists with workload management to meet deadlinesDevelops project management skills through management of assigned project tasksAssists with preparation of proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimatesPrepares environmental reports, performs technical analysis, and develops recommendations in collaboration with senior staffCoordinates field and office activities necessary for project executionSupports project setup, implementation, and closeout activitiesPerforms additional technical and project management duties as assignedCompletes Phase I Environmental Site Assessments under the direction of a qualified Environmental ProfessionalConducts site reconnaissance, records review, and report preparationContributes to environmental due diligence reports and technical documentationDevelops technical writing skills through preparation of project deliverablesQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's and/or Master's of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Natural or Environmental Science, Geology, or other degree relevant to the practice of Environmental Consulting0 years of related experienceA professional license is not required for this position, but it is necessary to progress in your careerIf driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is requiredSkills and AbilitiesBasic knowledge of environmental principles, regulations, and applicationsBasic understanding of permitting requirements and environmental test methodsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesDeveloping project management and consulting skillsAbility to work effectively with clients, peers, subcontractors, and field staffBasic ability to develop and maintain client relationshipsWorking knowledge of sampling methods and environmental field proceduresStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to lift and carry field equipment (~40 lbs)Must have the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and follow all local and state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policiesMilitary QualificationsThe following US Military ranks will qualify for this position IF they also meet the education requirements from the above section titled "Required Qualifications":E-5The expected pay range for this role and location is $60,000 - $62,000/year.
