Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following facility protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions. Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials as directed, and reporting unauthorized access concerns. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security‑related experience is required. Must meet hospital vaccination requirements. Must be able to work in a hospital morgue. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. At least two years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
