Electrical Engineer

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support an automotive client in Maryville, TN as part of a growing Facilities Maintenance & Engineering team. This individual will provide technical and project leadership for the campus electrical distribution system, including system balancing, long-term replacement planning, scope development, drawing updates, and support of capital improvement projects. The engineer will own the electrical scope for facility projects, lead construction activities, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and oversee electrical aspects of capital improvement and construction projects.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, purchase orders, progress meetings, punch lists, and day-to-day execution.
• Ensure safety compliance on active projects and proactively identify jobsite risks.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and project teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Review and develop drawings, specifications, and installation plans; verify field installations.
• Perform electrical system maintenance activities, including coordination studies and arc flash analyses.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and support Facilities Maintenance during equipment failures and repairs.
• Maintain electrical standards, specifications, and redline documentation for campus systems.
• This role serves as the primary electrical engineering resource for facility projects and infrastructure improvements across the campus.
