CNA/MA/CMA Opportunity at Mountain View HospitalMountain View Hospital is looking for a CNA/MA/CMA to join our team! This role involves assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, and clinical tasks. You will convey a positive image of the clinic, collect and process routine testing, and return results to the doctor. You will provide excellent customer service on the phone, to patients, doctors, and other medical staff. You will work well under pressure and prioritize tasks. You will perform CLIA waived moderate testing, patient referrals, pulling charts, filing, cleaning/wrapping instruments, stocking rooms, reconciling labs, rooming patients, taking vitals and history, answering telephones, reviewing and assigning faxes, healthy connection referrals/eligibility, collection calls, prior authorizations, checking patients in/out at the front desk, collecting pertinent information, collecting and processing payments, scanning and discharging, answering phones, posting charges, some coding/billing, medical records, blood draws, and giving injections.Mountain View Hospital is proud to offer its employees competitive and comprehensive benefit packages. Knowledge of handling laboratory supplies and stocks supplies.Ensuring that patients receive appropriate competent and quality clinical care and that customer service meets patient's expectation. Adherence by staff to all policy and procedures. Providing age appropriate care. Reporting monitoring and management of patient and staff incidents. Monitoring and management of patient and physician satisfaction results.Following standards precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Knowledge and performance of sterile tech.Proficient in clerical responsibilities including: sending/receiving patient medical records; obtaining lab/x-ray reports, hospital notes, referral information, etc.; completing forms/requisitions as needed; scheduling appointments; verifying insurance coverage and patient demographics; managing and charts to ensure information completed and filed appropriately.Performing facility responsibilities as assigned which may include: setting up instruments and equipment according to department protocol; cleaning exam/procedure rooms, instruments and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control.May perform special tests such as clotting times, bleeding times, and glucose tolerance tests and report results to other lab personal.Maintaining Point of Care documents and performing Quality Control management.Showing good customer service on phone and in person to anyone that enters the facility.Performing miscellaneous tasks that promote smooth operations or other duties as deemed necessary.Completing CCM Roster on a monthly basis.Staying current on CCM changes and requirements from CMS.Acting as a liaison between our provider and the patient when coordinating community resources, access to specialty services, follow-up healthcare, etc.Following-up and helping complete identified referrals. Coordinating with specialists and helping to integrate recommendations from our provider.
