Organize financial documents and manage the Virtual Data Room.
Respond to financial due diligence requests from advisors and potential buyers.
Analyze financial statements, general ledger data, working capital, nonrecurring items, and related-party transactions.
Prepare forecasts for sale proceeds, transaction costs, and wind-down cash requirements.
Support closing statements, settlement calculations, and transaction-related accounting.
Prepare Korean- and English-language reports for management and Korean headquarters.
Support monthly close, reconciliations, audits, and remaining financial matters during the wind-down.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
Seven or more years of relevant accounting, finance, M&A, transaction advisory, or restructuring experience.
Professional fluency in Korean and English.
Experience with financial due diligence, asset sales, divestitures, carve-outs, or business wind-downs.
Strong knowledge of financial statements, general ledger data, fixed assets, inventory, and working capital.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
Ability to work independently and prepare detailed analyses and executive-level reports.
Ability to work on-site in Bay City, Michigan, following onboarding.
High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA, Korean CPA, CFA, or comparable qualification.
Big Four transaction advisory, restructuring, or audit experience.
Manufacturing or other asset-intensive industry experience.
Experience reporting from a U.S. operation to a Korean parent company.
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Quality of Earnings, Net Working Capital, and debt-like item analysis.
