Position: Shipping and Warehouse AssociateLocation: Nazareth, PASIGN-ON BONUSASGCO engineers, manufactures, and distributes a wide array of conveyor and screening components, all specifically designed for the above-ground and underground mining, aggregate, cement, recycling, bulk shipping terminals, pulp and paper, food processing and other bulk material handling industries. We focus on providing exceptional products and service to our customers with the best solutions to their conveyor and screening material handling applications.ASGCO has a Shipping and Warehouse Associate opening for a candidate with a great positive attitude who excels at working in a team environment which helps drive the business. This applicant must be able to maintain high quality work, high level of attention to detail while ensuring personal productivity and safe operation. The right candidate must be able to take ownership, keep organized neat and clean. ASGCO offers a competitive wage, OT and an excellent benefits package that includes options for healthcare coverage, 401(k) plan, vacation and paid holidays.Responsibilities:Keep up with the workflow of everyday process in the shipping divisionAdhere to ASGCO Quality Assurance Standards and Safety StandardsPrepares orders for shipment to customersBe proactive and able to implement more effective ways of accomplishing goals of the departmentReport to management if there is to be maintenance on any machinery in departmentRequired to do other projects as requested by management due to business necessityUnload from truck and sign for delivery, ensure there is no damage to product.Take packing slip off of freight and staple it to trucking company bill of lading and place in shipping officePlace freight on shelf in proper location or desired location for stockingPull order as they come, pull appropriate stock from warehouse.Prepare manifests (packing lists) for all ordersProvide assistance to the Logistics Supervisor when required.Maintain good house-keeping and organization of warehouseOther responsibilities as seen fit by managementRequirements:Candidates must pass a background check and drug screenHigh School Diploma or GED2- 4 years of relative experience in a manufacturing facilityBe able and certified to drive a forkliftAbility to multi-task in fast paced dynamic environmentHave the ability to lift 50lbs., bending, kneeling, reaching and stranding for long periods of timeAttendance and reliability a MUSTCan lift up to 100lbs, bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time, significant fine finger dexterityWorking Conditions:Frequently exposed to regulated noise, cold working conditions also exposed to smells that are within the guidelinesPossible exposure extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, fumes or airborne particlesWhile performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see.Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workdayPersonal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, which may include a hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, gloves and other required protective equipment as required.May be required to work overtime on as needed basis.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
